Grandma's Oatmeal Chocolate Chips Cookie Recipe

Everyone who tastes them loves them! They remind me of my Grandma and the family farm. She would always have these little chocolate-filled morsels on hand for anyone who dropped by and would be thrilled to know her recipe is being passed on and shared. Bake a batch today. You won’t regret it.
Ingredients
Wet Mix
1½ cups butter
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
Dry Mix
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp salt
3 cups quick oats
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Step 1.
Cut butter into small pieces and soften it up with a standing mixer.
Add both sugars and cream until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time on low speed until combined.
Step 2.
In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
Gradually add to the wet mix on low speed until combined.
Step 3.
Remove the wet mix from the standing mixer and add it to the big bowl containing oats and chocolate chips. Mix by hand until combined.
Roll cookies out in 50g discs.
Tray up the discs and freeze. Once frozen, bag them up in 24s.
Baking Cookies
Arrange 24 frozen cookie pucks on a parchment paper-lined tray (4x6).
Place in oven at 350F for 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven and use a wooden spoon to flatten.
Return to oven for another 4 minutes.
